By train: Trains leave the Almaty-2 station on the Shymkent line daily at 18.05 and arrive to Tulkubas at 6.56

the next morning. A taxi can be

arranged to take you on the 20 minute

drive to Jabagly. Trains to Almaty

leave Tulkubas at 19.20 and arrive

to Almaty-2 at 09.30 the next morning.

By bus: Buses leave the Sairan Bus Station from about 21.30 hrs daily and arrive to Turar Ryskulov (old name Vannovka) from about 08.00 the following morning. A taxi can be arranged to meet you in Turar Ryskulov to take you on the 20 minute drive to Jabagly.

By car: Flying into Shymkent or

coming from Tashkent, take the

Almaty highway, travel 90 kilometers

and turn right beyond Turar Ryskulov

at the end of the Ak-Biik village. The

turning is marked Aksu-Jabagly. Pass through the village of Abail,

crossing a railway line twice. Jabagly

is about 5 kilometres after Abail.
